Mike Hyde
Mike Hyde is a Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) with over 30 years experience, primarily in development Management and Planning Enforcement.
He has previously worked in England and Scotland, for two National Park Authorities, a District Council and in the private sector.
Prior to becoming a planner Mike had a varied career, and other professional experience that he can now draw on includes structural and civil engineering, historic buildings and nature conservation, surveying and architecture.
In his most recent public sector role, at Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority, he was Planning Service Improvement Officer, responsible for implementing the Authority’s e-Planning Project, delivering an innovative planning communication strategy, and reviewing and improving processes and procedures.
Mike’s aim now is to provide experienced and understandable access to planning advice and training, and his growing client base includes both Local Planning Authorities and the development industry.
